You have to pass a motorcycle theory test before taking the motorcycle test.

In short, yes. The motorcycle and car theory tests are different. The difference is in the multiple-choice part of the test where ten percent of the questions on the motorcycle theory test are specifically motorcycle related. The hazard perception part is the same for both.

You can continue to drive in the UK without exchanging your licence for 12 months after becoming resident.

After 12 months you must exchange your licence to keep driving. You can exchange it up to 5 years after becoming resident, if it hasn’t expired.

Order form D1 from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA).
Send the form, £43 fee and any documents you need (including your driving licence) to the address on the form.

You should get your new licence within 3 weeks.

I did not exchange driving licence, I pass my driving test in the UK.

I don't think P牌 from Hong Kong matters in this case based on the fact that -

1) If it matters, the gov.uk website would have said.

2) Great Britain (not Northern Ireland) does not have a Probationary Driving Licence system.

Newly qualified drivers

There are no restrictions on newly qualified drivers in England, Wales or Scotland, but if a newly qualified driver receives six penalty points within two years of passing, the licence is automatically cancelled and the driver must pass the full test again. These six points remain on the new licence until their designated expiry time.
